Below is Superbcrew’s recent interview with Robin Saacks, Timac Business Systems‘s Chief Executive Officer.
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Timac Business Systems, a business software reseller since 2005, resells and supports mid-market ERP and CRM software. We are service oriented; our focus is to provide our clients with confidence in the use of their system, and be a resource for technical support, business process review, and reporting.
Many of our clients engage our services when their business has experienced growth that requires them to have improved internal controls within the company and to be in a position to generate meaningful financial and management reports for stakeholders of the company. We help our clients implement processes to achieve these goals, and provide meaningful solutions that fits their business needs. Clients also often engage our business software solutions to help them streamline processes and operate more efficiently. We understand the importance of knowing our clients’ business, and mapping technologies to fit their business needs.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We recently acquired another reseller in Michigan. This helps us to continue our expansion through the US. The company, Orion Business Systems, has a solid track record of taking care of its clients over 20 plus years of being in business. They have a similar philosophy to us in providing a quality service so we look forward to the integration and working with them.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Today, more and more, technology is becoming an integral part of any business. Without it, your business can quickly become less competitive and relevant. Most of our clients are distributors and manufacturers, but we also have clients in real estate, non-profit, services and media. Our clients are small to medium, and are often needing more structure in place as their business expands. We help put this structure in place with technology and more automation to help them further expand.
A: Steady growth. Taking care of our existing clients remains a priority, and that sound support and help that we provide to our existing clients is what has and continues to fuel new business and leads for continuing to grow our business. In addition, maintaining existing staff as well as attracting new talent also remains a priority. We are fortunate in that we have great people in our business that have been with us for some time now.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: The service and expertise that we have in our people is what allows us to give great service to our clients. We have many success stories of client companies merging and getting bought up by much larger corporations due to their growth and expansion that we have been fortunate to be a part of and helped to achieve. The mix of skills that we employ is computer programming and configuration, and accounting. We feel that this is the best mix to help clients with their business process and map the best technologies to help achieve their business goals.
